Examples of Hartge (left) and Alpina (right) - modified engines. The K&N cone air filter on the 'Alpina' is an owner-added upgrade. Notice also that many of these pictures show a "strut brace or stress bar" locking the 2 strut towers together and stiffening the front end. This is a very popular upgrade. |
