my mistake. You are correct - The S38B35 and M88 use the same hub.

When I saw "S38" I thought immediately about the E34M5 engine: S38B36.

M88 and S38 hubs are not the same and are not interchangeable.

I have a pedal box in very good condition, but it is from an early (E12-based) 1981 six series. Not sure if there is a difference from the pre-82 E24's and the later versions, when it comes to pedal boxes. Located in OKC.
