M635 Radiator and replacement options

Post by passta »

I think I know the answer to this is no to this from searching but want to double check.

I need a new radiator on my 85 M635. From realoem I see this https://www.realoem.com/bmw/enUS/part?i ... 7112226082 as the radiator for M635 with AC, which is a different part than a non-m 635 or E28.

Just wanting to verify that they are not interchangeable and then hunt one down.

Thanks!

I recommend buying your radiator from FCP Euro ( https://www.fcpeuro.com/ ). Everything they sell comes with a genuine lifetime warranty. Under heavy use, it's not uncommon for the radiators in these old girls to eventually leak. That's an inherent issue with a plastic/aluminum radiator. With a lifetime warranty, you will buy it once.

Ended up going with a new radiator from Wizard Cooling. So far so good, here is a link to some more stuff on it I did.
