Are you going t bring the wheels out any more and if so how?
Also, how are you finding the steering weight and turn in with the current off-set.

Wheels will probably need spacers. Would like to lower it more but the spoiler is quite deep, so may be an issue. This is the prototype built by @ozibimmer. I haven't driven it yet but expect the steering weight to be horrendous! In the long run I will probably get custom wheels made.

Hello, I would like to publicly thank Adaam of [email protected] for his Patience and delivery of my John Player Special body kit for my Euro 6! He stood by his word during the hardest of small business times to deliver my kit from Australia to New York! The finish and quality of the 5 piece kit is excellent! The fit I am sure will follow suit! Please help Adaam out and be sure to give [email protected] a look for your next build! You won't be disappointed! Thank you Adaam!

Greetings, all:

We run a 633CSi in 24 Hours of Lemons and are prepping a car for a race at Buttonwillow this month. We are thinking of doing the JPS livery. Does anybody have a vector file of the logo they would be willing to share? Hell, I'd even pay a few bucks for it. We have a plotter and a dxf file will be easy to cut. If you send us the file, we can cut some logos for you!!!

Our car is Kashmierbeige (or something like that). Let's call it gold. We can easily mask off the JSP stripes to let the kashmir beige show through, rattle can the entire car, and place the logos in a few hours. (I know 6-Series purists may be cringing right now, but it was a $500 car, and a less desirable model. Completely Lemons worthy.)

Meanwhile, here's the car at the last race we ran. Lucky Dog at Buttonwillow in February. Next time I hope it looks like the JSP tribute cars you guys have built!

And at the Lemons race at Sonoma last December:

Thanks,
Bill

OK, so we got our car all set with our JPS livery. The Lemons people will love it. The purists will hate it. Can't please everybody.

Oh, and we did create our own JPS logo. It's probably not perfect, but we are happy to share it if anybody else wants it. I can send a file by email.

All it needs now is to talk Luke into making the center of the multiple wheels gold. The car looks amazing, nice change.

Luke who? JK. We miss him. We are at Buttonwillow for a Lemons race this weekend. B/c of Covid it’s expensive to being people to the track. Next time.

I got a can of gold spray paint for that very reason. If only we had an ambitions 17-year-old to paint them...

My theory is if you like it who cares what others think? The smiles you get are the payback for the work.

Now if I can just convince the Mrs to let me park a Lemons car in the drive way...

So it's been a while since I posted. The car is now in Sydney, in lockdown. Very frustrating! I even had a mechanic come in to change the clutch master cylinder and the day after he'd removed the parts, we went into lockdown. Luckily today (after two months) he came back and fixed the clutch which now feels strong. Still not allowed to drive anywhere though!

Next I have to tackle an oil leak. Thought it was the timing chain tensioner but looks like it might be the thing chain cover gasket - any advice on that would be appreciated.

In the meantime I have been printing out sticker artwork and testing for size.

Wheels will be 16 x 10 up front and 16 x 12 at rear.

Hoping once lockdown ends everything will come together at once!

So after a 3.5 year journey here we are. JPS GroupC E24 is registered and running. Livery installed last week and made it's debut on Sunday. Reviews have been positive so far. Next project will be brakes, then performance. If anyone has an M30B34, M88 or S38 for sale hit me up!
