I can see that one selling quickly. Apart from the mileage issue, it looks clean in the pics. If it is as sound as it looks, who wouldn't want a Dinan M6? Doubt it'll stay around that price with that long left to bid, someone is really going to want that car.

Yeah, and it is nice enough, would hate to drive it on a regular base...somebody is going to see that as an investment and park it..... A shame, a car like that deserves to be driven ......

Hot performer. Although to me it looks a little tired for a 50,000+ mile car. I would guess with such heavy modification and visible wear, it's been ridden pretty hard.
just a guess.

Seems the auction has stalled at $31,250. Hope the vendor has a reserve set!

That was sort of my thought. I also don't know how much I would trust the timing components on a turbo s38 that is that old. Years ago everybody worried about the plastic guides failing on the NA engine...

Do you worry about your turbo car then?

Nah, I've never heard of the M30 timing guides failing on an m30. Plus the rebuild is MUCH cheaper for an M30 and I have a spare cylinder head anyway. That's part of the reason I use it as a track car and not the E28 M5. Cheaper to run, cheaper to fix, about the same performance.

It's a pretty good result.

Definelty lots of upward movement in e24's in good condition. Doesn't matter if they are standard 635csi, m635, alpina, and it looks that dinan can be added to the list.
