A couple of manuals there. I thought lot #68 looked to be the best of a poor bunch. Has lot #75 got a buffalo interior?

Pod I believe you are correct, lot #75 is Buffalo leather. Brings back memories as that's what my buffalo looked like before the re-dye.
In the UK do you have the ability to research the registration number back to the Vin # ? If yes, a factory vin look up should list the options purchased and would indicated Buffalo leather. That would, to some degree, confirm the reg # is for that particular car. Roger

So #68 made £5,200 according to the other thread on this auction. IMO they all made much more than they are worth. Just goes to show the state of the market for our cars which are starting to follow the E9 trend of a few years ago 8-[

I see lot #75 is on ebay for £4,500. Since it sold for £3500 + 20% premium = £4,200, then the vendor is looking at a thin profit if he manages to sell it. He also had to transport it home!

Surely a case of getting over-excited on the day of the auction, over paying and then finding that its not worth restoring at that price

I was just surfing ebay and saw it is now reduced to £3500. I feel sorry for the guy who bought it, obviously in an auction-inspired rush of blood to the head :(

Apparently he has now done a little work to it, but it is still not running, but turning over. I think he could help himself by pumping up the tyres and giving it a good clean - and get it running! Then I think he could live in hope of getting £2200-£2700 for it, bearing in mind the Buffalo interior and apparent low mileage. No MOT history though.
