Clear Euro front blinker lenses - aftermarket

Post by GRNSHRK »

Gents, been holding onto these thinking that I might eventually use them, but I don't think that's gonna happen, not on the green beast, anyway :-k

I bought these from the guy in Sweden that was making them years ago and said that he was getting out of the business, so I bought a pair

Please note that these are not as thick as the OEM lenses but you can see in the photos that they do appear as stock :-"

And quite frankly, I paid more than I think they are worth, but am willing to take offers, "reasonable" offers [-o<

You can always PM me if you want to take the discussion off line \:D/

Are the lenses a perfect fit, or do they require some mod. either in the mount or reflector etc?

Yes, they are a perfect fit, provided that you have a Euro 6er or have modified your US 6er with Euro assemblies, which I have done :-"

You can see in the photos that they fit nice and flush, using the 3X stock screws =D>

You didn't note what model you have, but modifying the US assemblies to Euro is not a huge undertaking, and there are probably writeups here on the board somewhere regarding how to do it :-k

Some people cut the reflector while others (such as me  ) chose to remove the reflector, coat the inner portion of the housing with reflective material, taped off the pigtails from the little bulbs that mount in the lower corners (so they don't short out [-X ), and there you have it, you're now Euro \:D/
