New shoes for M6
Finally got around to installing staggered style 32s I've been collecting with some Michelen PS3 AS
I am torn.
I saw a pic of a zinno n a henna E24 with 32's and wanted to replicate . Loved the pics n love my pic but in person..... they don't do much for me! They are definitely great in front of a camera .
Maybe they'll grow on me. I'm going to wait til that happens to get them redone in hypersilver OE Or shadow chrome.
I keep looking back but they don't bring a smile, but again love the pic!
Anyone else go thru similar experience with their wheels?

Nice wheels. I think shadow chrome would look better on your car but is very subjective.

Hey Pablo, given the shadowline treatment you have done to your M6, think I would suggest something like this, think it was called hyper black or black chrome, something like that
Sadly, don't have these wheels anymore

Looks great just the way it is - a nice improvement over the previous wheels!
Re: New shoes for M6
That's what I was thinking if I keep them. The style 65 finish is very hard to duplicate n not all shops can do this finish . That will be the challenge . I frequent the unofficial M5 board . Won't have to be exact as I'm not matching but close. I have the rim for them to match too

You could go for something like this (hydro dipping) https://f80.bimmerpost.com/forums/showt ... ?t=1511221

I struggle with modern wheels on the e24, I prefer period BBS or Alpina, or similar period correct wheels, on world bumper cars the rc90 looks good as well (although not period correct)

Re: New shoes for M6
I have exactly the same Style 32 wheels on my late model Shark.
I do like them very much, they are high quality and looking good to my opinion, especially on the later models E24.

I went this route. I would like to lower it just a little bit.
