Now, for the all important question, when is PSF14 scheduled, so we can drool over the B7 again :-k

Haven't heard a word my friend, and people are starting to ask

Thanks buddy

BTW, did the second edition of that book come out yet :-?

I have he first one, but rather inconveniently, it stops at the 6er era #-o

Yo Bob - GB & I were just discussing this the other night... Haven't heard from PD in awhile. I been pining for Pacific SharkFest, meet up since the last event we attended. Lots of stuff going on, sorry I missed the last couple years especially missing Winfield.

With reference to the 2nd edition, Are you referring to the most recent William Taylor / Jeremy Walton BMW Ultimate Drives 1937-1982 Volume 1 book/guide?
As far as I know the publisher has not released a 2nd edition, could have though..

Shit loads of great pics & stuff in the Volume 1 hardback copies. Weighs apx 4.5lbs to boot.

Hey Dug... yep, that's the one!!!

Post by GRNSHRK »

I do have volume one, a gift thanks to our illustrious Big Coupe admin, Brian

But I was bummed that other than a reference to Alpina 6ers, the book stops there #-o

Regarding PSF, sounds like it's time to start bugging PD and SW a bit more

True about Winfield, while it's just not the same, we must soldier on :(

At the last PSF, we did have a kinda "vote" and many of us were in favor of going back to South Lake Tahoe [-o<

I was even in touch with Steve Winters who lives up in Reno. He helped us a few year back as he's the proprietor of the auto museum up there, arranged for the tour and everythng. I was hoping that Paul would contact him to assist with arrangements, alas haven't heard anything, as you already are aware :-k

Anyhoo, keep in touch

Hope you guys can make it up and Gene comes out

Tahoe would be a lot of fun again. I'd make a vacation out of it and stay a couple of extra days

PSF 2004...

Post by dlvad »

Early PSF pic file link from 2004...
Came across these while sorting out some files.

This was a Great event, turnout was HUGE. Though not without surprises including the SLO Sheriffs Dept & CA Highway Patrol, along with some rain...

Had to be there I guess.

Book future?

Post by MGene »

Hey sorry I didn't see this sooner. I will send a message to William about the next volume. I think sales were a disappointment for the first one. Not my fault, I bought 10 of them for friends. Bobbo, I like the picture of Patti, Wynn, Chris and you at the watering hole.

Post by MGene »

Vol 2 is in the works but it's release will still be awhile. Release date unknown at this time. Volume 1 is being sold at discounted prices. I hope it has a big E24 section!

Hey Geno . . .

Post by GRNSHRK »

Please keep me posted on the release of volume II, hopefully Brian will buy me a copy of that one as well

And seeing those old pix of Wynn still makes me sad :(

Alas, we will soldier on, and hopefully keep the PSF tradition alive

Keep in touch Gene, I hope that you and Cindy are doing well 8)
