Helllo,
I'm Kevin from The Netherlands, 22 years old.
I recently bought an E24 628Csi automatic (Europe version).
It's from '80 and imported from Germany to The Netherlands in '81.
The color is Delphingrau (dark silver).
My previous BMW's are the 7-series E23 (I had three).
I always wanted a coupé so here I am.
Since there isn't a good Dutch database or Forum with information about the E24 I came up here.
I've registered my own domain (bmw-e24.nl).

Welcome Kevin!!
Always glad to say howdy to a new (to the E24) enthusiast!
That's a nice looking 80 6er. What are your plans for it, modification-wise I mean? At some point in the not too distant future, the welcoming committee will post various links for you to peruse -I never can find em to post- with a myriad of useful information.
Welcome to the madness, Kevin and always remember
Keep the shiny side up
Phillip

Many thanks!
Plans are making the engine running. (some minor stuff to install)
And some minor wiring issues to solve.
This car had a 3.5i engine in it but now it's almost rebuild to the original engine that's supposed to be inside.
After that I'll lower it a bit with some nice 16" rims.
Install an original M spoiler, running lights in the front.
And I'll order a custom made stainless steel exhaustsystem.
I also would to make the 2.8i have a manual gearbox instead of a automatic one.
I've got a scrap E23 for usefull parts but it has the newer type injection. (1984)
Thanks again for the welcome.
Kevin.
Wiring
I've got a few questions about wiring & relays:
Hopefully someone could explain this.
Then it should be up and running finally.
Kevin.
- I'm curious which relay I need for these 2 connectors.
I've looked up there are 2 different "combination relays"
I mean (what's the difference between them)
OEM:
13 63 1 272 131
or
13 63 1 273 139
As shown on this page:http://bmwfans.info/parts-catalog/E24/E ... ump_relay/
- Then I've got 3 loose wires...
I didn't looked yet but maybe someone knows.
- The petrol pump relay has 7 connections.
But I've only got 5 wires
Hopefully someone could explain this.
Then it should be up and running finally.
Kevin.
