These images show the variations in the different models and years. Euro models have smaller, cleaner bumpers, more powerful engines and other distinct features that tend to make them slightly more desirable than their US counterparts. 1988-89 cars all look the same.

As is evident from browsing the countless cars on this website and it's links, no two 6-series are quite alike. Most have upgraded wheels and tires and a variety of modifications, both factory and aftermarket that make them stand apart. These cars lend themselves to individualizing and there is a great assortment of possibilities to chose from. My '86 US 635CSi, for example, has Hartge 16" wheels, an '88-'89 airdam, rubber euro spoiler and euro turnsignal lenses. (Notice the right car above has clear lenses)
