Richard, I have a pair in brown leather, like new condition. What condition are your buffalo leather? My car has a buffalo leather interior, when I added the rear head rests I fitted them with leather from World Upholstery (non buffalo). What if we exchange the leather covers? This would reduce ship...

Re: Why is my AC hot in front and cold in the rear?
There's a part which BMW calls a voltage regular valve for A/C mounted in engine bay, IIRC part 64511380659, This valve becomes inoperative, it can be taken apart, cleaned or replace it. There are write ups which claim when this valve is functional the front A/C blows cold and is often over looked. ...

Julian, Dean passed away a couple of years ago. The washer pump was a stock pump from NAPA, I thought I saved the info, however, my searches on my computer hasn't turn up anything. A fellow member of this forum "SuperShark" purchased Dean's car, reach out to him through the search feature ...

Pod, This website may assist you with the selection, I don't have a lot of experience in the shock/strut market, I changed mine out to HD with the help of Bilstein tech support several years ago. They had cross references going from the beginning, it's the same old story, you need to get the right g...

Remove the speaker cover by prying it up with a pick, paper clip, etc., to separate it from the speaker pod it self. It the same method as removing a speaker cover on most speakers.
Once inside, the speaker is attached with screws/bolts. More info is available via searches on this forum.

I removed the SLS in my 1989, if IRRC the switch wire goes into the spare tire well (access plate) and connects to the SLS hydraulic pump in the well (yours may have been removed), disconnect at this location, make sure you waterproof the hole left by removing the wire. I removed the hard lines as w...

Re: Glove Box Stuck
Many of us have had this issue, this should add clarity to Val's suggestion: "Pull the door down and you'll see two Philips bolts. You can unscrew them with small phillips screwdriver." You're pulling the top of the glove box door downward towards the floor, this will create a space betwee...

Re: Repair to black sealant/wiring loom
Gray, I've used NP1 in similar applications, you'll do fine. The product carries an expiration date, check the tube date. IIRC, just before the product cured, I applied a very very light coating of lacquer thinner on the sculpture tool to prevent the NP1 from sticking to it and finished the task. Ro...

Re: Repair to black sealant/wiring loom
Hi Bert, After a few more google searches, MasterSeal is Registered name of BASF and NP 1 is a Trade Mark of BASF. I personally would use the product of brand name company I feel comfortable with, it's readily available from many sources. As the product starts to cure you can shape it and have a a g...

Re: Repair to black sealant/wiring loom
Bert, MasterSeal NP1 Black (Formerly Sonolastic NP1), BASF have numerous MasterSeal products. My google search came up with a case of 12 for $60, for single tube, I've aways paid $6 to $8 per tube from builders supply company, not the big box stores. Re: Repair to black sealant/wiring loom
I've used Liquid tape to cover/reinforce the failing, crumbing plastic connectors in the engine bay, works great. BASF makes a sealant NP 1, IMO best sealant product on the market, you can mold it before it dries in place, apply several coats to build up the that area at the wiring loom. Seems to la...

The fog lights on US cars only work when the head lights are on, hopefully it's this simple. Ask me how I know, I spend hrs working on mine and then a friend told me "turn the lights on". Our member Song was have the same issue, that was the problem. Roger Edit: Euro cars have a different ...
