Re: BBS RC090 finish selection opinion
Thanks to everyone for their input. This photo represents the final product for my 1989 635 CSI, Alpine Weiss II. What do you think? At times I think it's just to much bling. I'm still on the fence regarding the following and would appreciate your comments. BBS logos per photo or BMW logos? Valve st...

Pinstripe installation location
Hi All, We'll be installing new pinstriping, width of the stripes 3mm and 2mm. I've read and have seen pinstriping located above and below the coachline. Did BMW have a preferred location? Should the 3mm stripe be at the top, starting below the coach line. then a 2mm space with the 2mm stripe foll...

The company that's refurbishing my wheels has agreed to do the work, I'm just waiting for the price. ...

Bumper/valance assembly
We getting close to finishing the reassembly of my 89 635CsiA after the respray. I'm not completely satisfied with the outcome of the front/rear bumpers. Final sanding with 1500 grit and then polished, just doesn't do it. I would appreciate feedback on the following: The bumper and valances are asse...

Bobbo, you're correct, my 11/88 build operates the same. The logic, if you need the hood light on, it's mostly likely dark out and the car lights are on for safety.

Re: FS: M30 Black Textured Powder Coated Valve Cover - $75.00
Hi Rick, I'm interested.
Is it straight and true, not warped?
Why are you selling it?
Is there any reason the raised BMW logo and the high areas can't be sanded to reveal the aluminum underneath for contrast?
Thanks, Roger

IIRC it takes a LOT of pressure, I almost gave up but finally got it fitted.
