Hi Brian,
What happened to the black on blue font you tried a few days ago? Seems to have reverted to a rather thin blue on blue. Needs a touch more contrast (and maybe a few more points in size) for these eyes.
I realize the subject/title is clearly a bold, black font and that is not needed in the text of the posts.

Should there be a sign out or log off button?

Hi Brian
I was asked on another site to post a link to a thread I created re the restoration of my car .
I just had a look at it and found that it has lost much of the text ,many of the photos and also has some peculiar text symbols scattered through it too.
viewtopic.php?f=25&t=24813
I'm not sure if this is a singular problem or is replicated in other threads but thought I'd bring it to your attention .
Cheers

Odd,

Are you able to delete the link and re-add it at this external site?

I cannot see the sporadic text you mention

I see there's a problem where an email doesnt notify users when there's a PM or comments on a Subscribed thread. I'm working on this.

I don't know about you, Tom, but yes, I am going blind. My vision is getting progressively worse thanks to diabetes. Yes, the font size is bigger than it was with the old site, and could probably afford to be downsized a bit, but "looks like hell"? That's a little overboard.

I'm guessing more features are being added to get it back to like the old board? I usually click "new posts" to save me going through every forum but that feature is not there yet?

Strange as it is still there when I open the thread.
The faults seem to be specific to the first post in the thread . Several photos are missing along with a chunk of text and the peculiar text looks like this

I’d “ “workâ€

It's no big deal as I can edit it but I was only pointing it out to ensure the problem wasn't widespread.
EDIT
I've cleared it all up now Brian so please disregard my problem .

I have a notification telling me someone left a comment on my entire suspension overhaul thread on the 21 of Dec but when I click on the notification I'm the last person to have left a comment. :(

Also if possible it would be a good idea to have a watched topics tab in the drop down menus on the left. I'm part of another forum that has this and it certainly helps find topics you need to refer back to quickly.

Drop downs of un read posts and new posts does not seem to be the same as .......... posts since last visit.

I have used posts since last visit all the time to find updates. The other options are not so useful.

Are we still limited to uploading 4 pictures at a time? Is there a workaround by loading 4 and then editing that post to add more?
What about archiving pictures from 3-party hosting sites or just telling everyone REPEATEDLY that posting on BC future-proofs against disappearing hosting services?
Am particularly referring to the Friday ladies.

It's a great new look to use on the iPhone. Great now for browsing when taking a relaxing shit in the toilet.

One thing I noticed that it doesn't say who was the last poster in the thread when u search for new posts.

Cheers.

I had it sent to 3 for ages and that particular thread pushed it to 4. I like to keep it at 4. That's still 8 tits!

Posts from other websites is a whole different story. There are 2 issues.

A) I would prefer they be posted from a 3rd party site from the server admin point of view since they don't take up my space and bandwidth. Now the downside of that obviously is that you may lose some pics

B) It would take a person to convert the picture when an external image is posted to the attachment method and store it on the server. This could potentially eat up somebody's spare time but if anybody wanted to do that, I can give them rights.

Brian,
Thanks for the education on website hosting issues.
Who is the most reliable host for my pics?
How do I fix my signature block to remove empty lines that weren't there in the prior version?

It Seems that Flickr and Imgur have been around forever and worth trying. I also hear Google+ Photos is good.

In terms of your signature, I just fixed mine by removing it and re-adding it.

Do this:

On the top right, click your name and go to Profile
Choose Edit profile
Under the Profile tab --> Edit Signature
Copy and paste your current signature into Notepad and remove your signature. Hit Submit
From Notepad, Copy and Paste your signature back in and hit submit

That worked for me
