Wow, one of the best I ever seen.
Big fan of Zinnoberrot with black interior.

I had a deal to buy that exact car almost 2 years ago.
Contract drawn up, shipper arranged, wire ready to be sent.
Then the owner (the guy this current seller apparently bought the car from) ghosted me, after telling me some phony stories.
Looks like a few months later it was sold to the current seller.

Haha, yeah, I found a better one, for less than I was going to pay for that one.
Don’t get me wrong, though, I think that it is a good car too. Red isn’t my favorite color, and I’m not a big fan of the comfort seats, US or 88-89 world bumpers, rear AC or parts of the bulkier 88-89 interior bits. I ended up with an earlier car in my favorite color, sports seats, Euro bumpers and 219 hp Euro engine, etc. so it worked out well.
But based on my investigation of the car, it seemed like a good car, and like I said I was ready and willing to buy it. The seller (the guy I was buying from, not the current seller) reneging on the deal at the last second, after I had invested hours into the deal lining up shipping, insurance, getting the wire ready etc etc., IMO showed bad character, so that was annoying, but such is life.
The current seller, I’m sure, got it at a good price (I’m going to guess around $13-15k or so) and will make good money on it. It looks like it’s been cleaned up and detailed, but not much else.
It had 128,277 miles on the odometer in November 2019, so it has apparently not been driven much in the last 2 years.
