Correct Driveshaft length?

Post by kylefav390 »

So I'm in the middle of doing a 5-speed swap into my car (Getrag 260/6 into a 1988 late model) and I thought I had the correct driveshaft since the part number matched RealOEM. When I went to install it today it was about an inch and a half too short. The adjustment on the splines was not enough to make up the difference, so i'm assuming I have the wrong part. The rear section seems to be correct, but the front half doesn't fit. Does anyone know what the correct part number is for this specific situation? or at the very least the correct length for the late model 5-speed driveshaft? Thanks in advance!
