Rear A.C.

Post by tmoretta »

I recently replaced the A.C. compressor on my '88 M6. I vaccumed out the system, changed all o-rings that I could reach and re-charged with 134A. I just tried the A.C The front is pumping cold - warm air from the rear unit. Any ideas?

I just re-checked my calculations of the correct amount of refrigerant to use in this system. I under filled by 1/2. I have added more 134a and system blows cold front and rear.

What was the total amount of 134a added for front & rear A/C for proper operation?

Now that's just plain ole messed up ](*,)

Talk about a hack job [-X

You could probably find the required parts and restore it, but I doubt it would be easy :-({|=

I could repair it. its just copper. but there must have been a reason they did it so I imagine there was another leak in the system somewhere. not worth bothering with right now.
