Official BMW Vintage parts shop :D

When I found this site I was blown away. I found this link VIA 6ercoupe.de. There are band new parts that can be ordered and a English language tab at the bottom right hand corner of the title page. Also you can register your VIN and your shark will appear under a cover! when ordering parts. I was pleasantly surprised when I could find the window seal part I badly needed for 36 Euros.

Re: Official BMW Vintage parts shop :D
Thanks for the link - good site! I've been buying quite a bit from Wallothnesch https://www.wallothnesch.com/en/ over the last 6 months, also BMW direct. My conclusion is that all the parts are accessed from a single data base - you will find everyone has the same parts available. Most of the time Wallothnesch are cheapest (they often have deals), rarely BMW (the dealer) are cheaper... My experience so far is that Wallothnesch are best, really helpful, well packaged, quick delivery to the UK and very fussy about quality...

Thanks. It seems a number of the links are broken. I get a 404 error on the car parts link, an Events and Renting a "access denied" error.

From chasing links in the BMW site, it appears that they have closed the direct parts sales part of the organization and direct one to go to the 'Official" BMW dealer or one of a few BMW Classic Centers, all located in the European Continent. A short list of reproduction parts were listed foe our e24's, door handles and exhaust tips.

I used to buy some stuff at that BMW website. But as mentioned all these parts can be ordered at your local BMW dealer as well. I now buy everything at my local BMW dealer, prices are the same as internet prices.
I got the reproduction exhaust tips by the way. They look pretty good, only downside, they are made in China...

Re: Official BMW Vintage parts shop :D
Just a comment for those in the USA: Some BMW dealers provide a discount for BMW Car Club of America (CCA) members. Locally in the Detroit area I know that Erhard BMW offers a 10% discount, and I've heard that BMW of Ann Arbor offers 20%! Although I've found that it's very difficult to beat Maximillian Importing Company's prices, even with the discount.
As a BMW CCA member I also get a 5% discount on my Hagerty insurance.
It's easy to end up joining too many organizations, but I've found that the CCA pays for itself.
What can I say - I'm cheap!

As a CCA member since when it was the BMWCCA, let me second that. You left out one other benefit - local chapters where you can share your affliction with others...
