Shop Lights

Post by sansouci »

I am converting my T12 4' fluorescent lighting to LED. Costco has them for $39.99. The benefits are no flickering or dimming when we get to the chill of winter and they won't need new ballasts every few years.
The new ones have 4000K color temperature, 4000 lumens and consume 52 watts. This compares to a 2-bulb fixture with Philips FC40CW (cool white) that has a 4100K color temp, 5200 lumens (that's for both bulbs) and 80 watts (that's also for both bulbs.)
