Just received my M6 Front Valance from DTMFirberwerkz

Post by SEAN2005 »

Hey Everyone,

I plan on getting the front valance installed soon at a professional shop. Is there any extra hardware that I need to purchase or will most professional shops have everything needed for this installation? Thanks!

I am SUPER interested to see how it looks when finished. My M6 air dam is all beat up, and finding a replacement that looks worse than mine is upwards of $1000. If you end up with a good result, that might be the way to go for me, and then I can take my time restoring my original piece.

There are three large brackets for mounting the stock air dam.

However, I would expect any reputable shop can fabricate mounts as needed.

That looks quite good! Didn't know they were making these.
Can't this company advise in how to install it?

Thanks for the link. I will definitely keep you posted. I'll be documenting my journey on this site and my youtube page. The link is below. From what I've heard, these DTM lower valances are legit. Some folks from Bimmerforums had posted their information. They are on Facebook too. I paid about $560 for mine. Shipping from California to Alabama by Freight was about $165.
