They just clip in. Lift the bonnet and ease the tags with a thin-bladed small screwdriver.

Thank you for that but mine look like a nut is screwed on from the inside of the bonnet. (hood).
I just had car painted and didn't want to damage anything by removing them. They look as though they come out from the bottom of the hood so I guess I'll try one and see what happens.

Sorry, I was referring to a S2 car. I think you need to remove the water piping then unscrew the nut. Why didn’t the painter remove them before he did the spraying? You will have to remove them very carefully to avoid ruining the new paint :wink:
