Rare engines for sale ( m90, m106 )

Post by speter »

Greetings! I'm selling 2 very rare engines for Bigcoupe members:

SOLD
1.) M106 (M30B34MAE), engine code 346TA, turbocharged M30, 3430 cc, 185 kW, 8.0:1 compression ratio, 0,41 bar (6 psi) peak boost. Motronic engine management. This was the last turbocharged engine until 2006 N54 engine!

This particular engine comes from a 1983 German 745i.
Flywheel, ECU are included, I need to check the availability of mass airflow sensor
M102’s intercooler included, original turbo and exhaust manifolds, unfortunately the wiring loom is cut.
It’s not operated for a long time, mechanically it looks OK (crankshaft rotates well by hand).
The engine was purchased with sales contract, now it’s for sale again with contract. Engine numbering is clear and clean.

Its applications:
1982-1986 E23 745i
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/BMW_M30#M106

Price: 2300 Euro, OBO
Location: Budapest
, Hungary (https://goo.gl/maps/7qR5dS4aJxJ3apqo7)

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
SOLD
2.) BMW M90, bore 93.4mm, stroke 84mm, 3453 cc, 160KW. It’s the derivative of the legendary M88 (same block as M88 with the M30 head).
This particular engine comes from an 1978 British 635CSi parts car with 115400 miles in the odometer. The flywheel and clutch are not included.

It’s not operated for a long time, mechanically it looks OK (crankshaft rotates well by hand).
Complete and clear history of owners and sales contracts is available, this allows fully legal build into compatible vehicles.

Its applications:
1979-1981 E12 M535i
1978-1982 E24 635CSi
1978-1982 E23 735i

Price: 1200 Euro
Location: Budapest

Would you be interested in selling just the m90 block? For one it could make shipping much easier..

Hi,

Thank you for your interest in the engine! The m90 and m106 can be purchased separately, but only the complete engines. I would not like to part them out and sell individual parts (block, cylinder head, pistons, intake, etc.).

International shipping is possible at buyer's expense.

Cheers!
