Klearz smoked rear turn signals

Post by mk2mark »

Hi guys,

Is anyone interested in doing a group buy on rear turn signals?

https://klearz.com/products/bmw/e24/e24 ... t_segments

I don't really mind which color, but my preference would be smoked.

I prefer original but that aside, I must say they look great. Especially the smoke version.

I would like to do the clear corners. or if possible, buy a set of full clear ones so I don't have to chop mine.

I had really good success with using red tint spray on mine to get rid of the amber.

Hey guys,

A few more details since there seems to be a reasonable amount of interest here. The cost on these will be $70 since I'll want to cover some shipping.

Anchored, I did ask about the full lens unit, but they flat out said they won't do a run of those. I've had my lenses out of the car and the diy option looks pretty straightforward. (A fix like this may even be overdue since my turn signals were already starting to separate from the red part).

mk2mark - 1 pair, smoked
anchored - 1 pair, clear
rhanley - 1 pair, clear

The minimum group order is 10, but I'm prepared to put a few sets up on ebay - so we're closer than it looks.

Sure. Obviously the shipping will be a little more. You might find that shipping will be the same for 1 pair vs a few pairs too.

So is this for just the corner piece or the entire lense? Because I like the tinted red one looks pretty cool. And my car could define use some new lenses.

Hey guys,

I'm going to go ahead with this order. I'll PM those that have confirmed above with more details.

It's not too late for others to put in orders - I'm ordering 10 total, like I said some are going up on ebay - so contact me here to get a better rate. Or conversely I suppose you can wait till they go up on ebay if you're looking for a little more peace of mind with the transaction.

Thanks all!

Here's what I got from the supplier:

Sounds like there's quite a lead time and that red might be a bad idea. Still waiting to hear back from pod and anchored.
The clear lenses are 65$ per set.
The red and the smoked would be 75$.

However I can't guarantee that the red would be a perfect match. So I would caution about getting red corners and expecting them to be 100% match.

The total for the lenses is 690$

I created a shipping estimate to a random address in PA which came to 41$ (to give you an idea)

That puts the Total to 731$

We would need 2-4 weeks to produce the molds, this is a very busy time of year.
Then another 2-3 weeks to produce and ship the ten sets of lenses to you.

Yet another update.

Klearz isn't sending me an invoice until the molds are ready which means two things - 1) I don't want to take money from anyone on here until I have an invoice from the supplier. 2) It's not too late to get in on this if you haven't already.

I'll update this thread with all updates

Thanks all!

Ill take a clear set.
Ive enquired Klearz before about getting a set for my car and have always told me that they are unavailable.
If this actually happens, I will be verrry pleased. \:D/

Sounds good.

This is still happening, I've been in touch with them but I guess this is how long it takes to pull and set up molds :D

Hi guys,

Good news, Klearz got back to me and they've made it super simple too, we can all order individually from here: https://klearz.com/products/bmw/e24/e24 ... t_segments

If you committed earlier please go ahead and order, they're doing this as a favor.

Thanks all!
