FS UK RHD M635CSi #109

Post by Soperman »

Spotted on eBay, I'm fairly sure this is 109.

Off the road for 20 years apparently. 125k miles, scruffy, faded, some usual rot, but lots of originality and at first glance well worthy a restoration.
First thing I'd replace is the electrical tape masquerading as plenum chamber hose!

I was tracking this one from the the outset with a view to owning it - hence my decision not to post details on the forum 😉. Did anybody else bid on it?????

Yes, it is #109.

Bought sight unseen on eBay, but vendor says the engine runs OK and Just needs new rotor arm & distributor which he will supply. I hope all will work out OK and overcome my disappointment in not securing #500 ☹️

Good luck with it Pod, it's a project for sure; how many E24's do you have now? ;)

1982 BMW 635CSiA (1 of 100's left from the 1000's made and still valiantly fighting against a rusty grave)

Best of luck Pod. I’m sure I speak in behalf of many others when I say it would be great to learn how things progress.
