E12 530i frt brakes

Post by stepher »

Does anyone know the piston diameter of the frt caliper on a 75 530I 4 piston caliper? Also the distance from the hold down pins center to center?

Thanks, Rick

Rick, that's going to be a bit of a task to find those dimensions, not the piston diameter so much, but the other may be only something that Ate could supply :-?

I keep in touch with a fellow board member in BC, who just happens to be an E12 guy and owns a 528i (530i maybe?), let's see if he can help you [-o<

Rick, I have some calipers in storage that I'll have to hunt up. My car is a 77 530i but as far as I know the info your after would apply to any e12 based car. Not some of the smaller euro stuff but anything we have here, 530i, 528i, 630i , 633. I'll try to find those soon
