Can anyone identify the brand of these wheels?

Post by Austintatious »

They were originally gold basketweaves. On an 83 euro 635csi. I need center caps for them. The hole is about 75 MM. Pic of the logo on them.

That's not a logo of the brand.

JWL (Japan Light Alloy Wheel) "JWL" (Japan Light Wheel Alloy) is a compilation of standards defined by the Japanese Government to ensure the vehicle's safety for aluminum road wheels. Every wheel put to market must be tested to meet JWL standards before a wheel can be put out to market in Japan. These standards are generally accepted worldwide as acceptable for most road conditions. That is why you will see these marks on European and other Asian country wheels.

Can you upload a photo of the complete wheel?

Good to know, thanks....

I cannot find any other markings on them. Here is a pic of the entire wheel.

Also, the missing caps looked very similar to these https://www.classiceuroparts.com/produc ... s-porsche/

You might find info on the backside of the wheel.

Those are Riken Wheels. While they are not BBS in terms of overall desirability, they are a beautiful wheel, well made and well respected.

Here is a picture of the same wheel:

Very nice wheels, I have a set of those in the original gold. I bought mine years ago for I think $200. I thought I got a great deal until I had them checked and they were all badly bent on the back lips. All out of round. So they sit waiting till I decide to spend big $$$ to have them all fixed and refinished. Hope you have better luck. I like the fact they are a little different than BBSs.
