Re: transmission sensor?
Replaced switch with new but still not working. Appears as the there’s a worn piece inside trans. which is worn and doesn’t quite reach the switch to activate lights. Would anyone have experience with this, or know if there is a separate part to be replaced here or a fix for this problem? I went th...

Re: Pacific Sharkfest 2024 pix
Interesting story indeed  Probably still accurate, maybe even more so :-k From what I understand, I'm gonna be buried in my 6er  Also interesting was one of the couple of "holy grail" cars noted was the E30 M3 =D> He also used the term "greybeards", which I also used...

Nice catch Paul, didn't want that to happen during PSF
Just finished changing my oil, checked my service records, only to find out that it's been 2 years since the last oil change
Not all that many miles, but also time is a factor
See ya in a few

For color codes, you can use this linky :-" https://bimmertips.com/bmw-oem-paint-code-list/ But if you take a look under the hod on the passenger side shock tower, you should see a color label which will have the color code on it, a 3 digit number =D> As far as a VIN decoder is concerned, check...

Ken, got a pic [-o< I had to buy one recently, think I got it from ECS Tuning :-k It's the "L" shape right angle type, required thanks to the O2 sensor bung in my headers placing the sensor very close to the tranny  I bought a straight type at Autozone but there wasn't enough clearan...

Contact cement :-" I have to admit that some of the spray contact adhesives that I have used in the past let go after a few years, but the brush on type, such as Weldwood, is working very well =D> In fact, I hope that I never has to do this task again, as I doubt that I could easily remove it :...

Re: Euro Conversion Complete :) (85% Complete, atleast)
You need to find pix of an early Euro car rear bumper, wherein you will see the rubber filler pieces that fill those gaps between the end of the bumper and the rear quarter panels :-" But either way, S1 or S2, you are going to have to fill in those 6 holes and repaint :-({|= I personally like t...

Nice indeed, but it appears that you only converted the front :-k While you didn't post any pix of the full rear end, sure looks like the US side bumper surrounds still installed :-" And are you the guy with the ultra rare shade of green that most of us (I for one...) have never heard of [-o< K...

Hey Jeff, not sure if I understand what you are suggesting :-k Bobbo... now take those new parts off or order a second set to have on hand in a couple of years to repeat the process. Not sure about this, BertThe drivers seat appears original and I think the passenger seat is from an E30.
Pretty sure the E30 seat seams run in the opposing direction that the E24 seats do
