Sea Foam Oil and Injector cleaning

Post by Jlc »

Anyone have any experience using Sea Foam in their oil prior to an oil change? Or cleaning the injectors?

I sprayed directly into the throttle body. Had no issues with running just preventive
carbon build up. Some smoke out the pipe, not clouds of smoke. Engine ran the same after.

If I ever used it again with no issues, I would use in gas tank method.

I dump a can of it into the hot oil and drive for 20-30 min then change the oil. It thins it out a bit and lets more drain as well as does a little cleaning... probably minimal benefit but I like to do it.
