What are the 2 orange modules? and the grey one above, for that matter.
Also..... the orange connector that is disintegrating..... whats the best way to replace? Image

I've got the same looking situation on my '88 M6. I taped mine up with electrical tape since I haven't been able to find any replacements for it. Would be curious as to what some more experienced guys have done in this situation.

Looks to me like they are feeding into that auxiliary fuse box, which in my 81 Euro fed after market air usually added at the dealer??
81 Euro 635 M90 with motronic. Currently under a complete nut and bolt restoration. Pictures at
